After developing a range of oils, waxes, soaps, and applicators specifically formulated to rejuvenate various wood products, we decided it was time to find a high-quality buffing pad for use with our wax.

We extensively tested different materials, shapes, sizes, and surfaces before discovering this particular pad. Unlike many microfiber pads that can be too smooth and cause the wax to smear, or foam pads that do not spread the product evenly and get stuck, this microfiber fleece material provided the best results on wood boards. It offers a smooth, even finish without scratching and is less messy than other pads.

We collaborated with the manufacturer to create the perfect dimensions for comfortable use (3.5" diameter) while still fitting in most wax containers. While we recommend using it with CLARK'S cutting board finish, you can certainly experiment with it on a variety of other projects. We anticipate receiving reports from customers using it for tasks ranging from car polishing to makeup application to moisturizing a turtle (yes, it's a real thing!).
